Query Statement: Hi there!  I have just finished my O level and am waiting for the result. Now, I am confused about what to do next. My major subjects in O level were accounting, economics and business studies. My parents are forcing me to do CA.So, what exactly would I need to do so as to get to CA? Should I do A level or some other shortcut? Plus, what else can I do with these subjects, a field that has a great scope?

Kindly guide me for I am really confused.

Thanks. I’ll be eagerly looking forward to your reply.

Education Level: Matriculation

Skills – Subject Related: I am really good at accounting and scored an A* in O level exams. I am also good in Economics and understand the logistics of the subject quite well.

Skills – Non Subject Related: While I was a regular candidate in O levels, I participated in various debating and sports events, though, I am not so good in both. I also learned cooking in the school and can bake things quite well. But then I became a private candidate so just attended academy.

Interests: I am interested in Economics and the further research work related to it. Public relations also suit my interest.

Career Objective: I want to excel in the subjects that I will choose.

Counseling (History) :Career Counselling Centre.

No, You should first do A level so that during A level you can easily access what is better for you.Acca,CA,CIMA ,ICMA or some other field

You should do the A Levels and then ACCA, good luck.

As Salaam U Alaikum

Please do A levels in Business and Account Subjects and then take admission into CA.

I would advise you to please pursue an academic degree as well because CA takes a lot of time for completion.
