In my opinion your first option is to register for CIA or ACCA because you are working in internal audit department because it will give you benefits in your career and professional growth, i know both of them are very expensive. In your current scenario there is also a second option which is CMA from ICMA Pakistan (18 Papers are there to become a Certified Chartered Management Accountant), it will also give you benefit, you are also able to get exemptions on behalf of your MBA and it is not too much expensive. You can check it’s recognition at

Go for further studies MS in finance

You should consider moving into anti-corruption corporate compliance field.

As Salaam U Alaikum, You can go for MSc in Accounting or Finance, if you want to pursue further education. Also you can opt for consulting financial projects as you have 6 years’ experience as an internal auditor.  Rest, the best option would be to go for certification and professional certificates if you can afford it easily.

As an internal auditor at 28, with an MBA in finance is impressive. Why feel the need for a certification, if you feel finance is your forte then you can complete your CFA in a few years while you work and try to apply to countries such as UK, USA, UAE, AUSTRALIA, CANADA. Other than that, you can apply for jobs with your current qualifications as well. A little bit of research as to what opportunities exist around the world, would help you immensely and you can find out what country and what job is a good fit for you. The job requirements will help you ascertain what qualifications you need further in your education or otherwise to forsee a better future

Reference to your query, it’s best if you do CIA (certified internal auditor) a US degree that will help you in your profession, alternatively you can go for ACCA.
